Modern IT Infrastructure of IMCD
IMCD has a modern and up to date IT infrastructure key to support commercial, financial and logistic business processes. The backbone of the financial and distribution system is a fully integrated ERP platform. The structure of this centralised IT platform facilitates uniform and efficient business processes within the IMCD Group and supports up to date in-and external reporting to suppliers and stakeholders of IMCD. The ERP platform is a unique asset enabling fully automated order and other information exchange with IMCD’s business partners (suppliers, customers and logistic service providers).
All IMCD companies make use of a sophisticated custom developed Customer Information System (CIS). CIS is a Lotus Notes based uniform and powerful tool that supports IMCD’s sales force. Commercial market information and application knowledge is stored in a structured and uniform way in CIS and made available to authorised users. The information is based on standardised visit reports of IMCD’s sales force and in-and external market studies. CIS fully supports protected data sharing possibilities and contains specific “sample follow up” functionality.
