Many of our sustainability initiatives can help to reduce waste, improve productivity, and ensure the reliability of future resources that are criticalto business operations.

Together for Sustainability (TfS)
IMCD is a member of Together for Sustainability (TfS). TfS is a member-driven initiative that aims to raise CSR standards throughout the chemical industry. Its network is comprised of world-leading chemical companies committed to making sustainability improvements within their own operations as well as their suppliers.
EcoVadis

EcoVadis awarded IMCD Group a gold rating. Ecovadis is a sustainability platform that promotes transparency and sustainability in the global supply chain. It is also a service provider for the Together for Sustainability (TfS) Assessments, which are conducted through its secure online platform. In cooperation with EcoVadis, TfS aims to develop and implement a global audit programme, using set criteria to assess and improve sustainable practices within chemical industry supply chains.

Sustainalytics
Sustainalytics, a Morningstar Company, is a leading independent ESG research, ratings and data firm that supports investors around the world with the development and implementation of responsible investment strategies. Its ESG Risk Ratings measure a company's exposure to industry-specific material ESG risks and how well a company is managing those risks. IMCD is recognized by Sustainalytics as a 2022 ESG Industry Top Performer with a score of 13.8 (low risk). This rating indicates IMCD to be at low risk of experiencing material financial impacts for ESG factors and ranks the company first among over 180 international peer companies in trading and distribution.
UN Global Compact
IMCD aligns strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and takes actions that advance societal goals.

RSPO
IMCD has been a member of the Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) since 2015. A non-profit organisation, RSPO unites stakeholders from seven sectors of the palm oil industry to develop and implement global standards for sustainable palm oil. 

IMCD engages with stakeholders on local, national and international level through associations through various associations across the chemical and ingredients industries. An overview of the main memberships held by IMCD can be downloaded below.
