These composites can substitute traditional UPRs with key advantages over standard industry resins such as higher mechanical strength, more flexibility, lighter weight and cost competitiveness. Using them as an ingredient in the synthesis of the UPR also saves natural resources, saves energy in the production process and produces lower greenhouse gas emissions. The company offers a wide range of these materials containing UPR resins for multiple applications.
For every drum of this resin, approximately 1,800 used plastic bottles are diverted from landfills and oceans. In 2019, this initiative already saved close to 55 millions of used plastic bottles across Europe.
