GGBS (ground granulated blast furnace slag) can partly replace cement to lower the carbon footprint of cementitious tile adhesive (CTA) formulation.
Modified Methyl Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose has a low impact on cement hydration and thus enhances cement setting behavior.
Such product allows to optimise Cementitious Tile Adhesives (CTAs):
- Formulations can reach similar performance with a combination of OPC and GGBS
- Possible to formulate even high-quality CTA like C2TE-S1.
