Calcium Phosphate
Dibasic calcium phosphate, Dibasic calcium phosphate dihydrate
Calcium Phosphate
It is used as a filler because of its compaction properties, and the excellent flow. DCP has a brittle fracture compaction nature. This means it has very low lubricant sensitivity. Because it is also highly attritive and can be a cause of friction in tabletting, it requires a lubricant in tabletting operations.
