Crystallisation inhibitor
Crystallisation of drug reduces the bioavailability of the drug resulting in reduction of efficacy of formulation. Crystallisation inhibitors prevent the crystallisation of the drug by increasing viscosity or by formation of hydrogen bonds with the drug.
