Etoposide
Etoposide is a semisynthetic derivative of podophyllotoxin, a natural product found in the roots and rhizomes of plants of the Podophyllum genus. Etoposide is used in the treatment of certain neoplastic diseases. It may be administered either intravenously or orally.
Initial US FDA approval: 1983
