Hydrocortisone Acetate
Hydrocortisone acetate is the synthetic acetate ester form of Hydrocortisone, a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties. Hydrocortisone acetate topical cream and ointment are used to treat a variety of skin conditions (e.g., eczema, dermatitis, allergies). Anal ointment is used to treat minor pain, itching, swelling, and discomfort caused by haemorrhoids and other problems of the anal area (e.g., anal fissures).
