Lactose
Lactose is a disaccharide of galactose and glucose. It is widely used as a filler and diluent in oral solid dosage forms such as tablets and capsules. A specialized lactose grade has been developed specifically for ODT applications offering excellent compaction, good hydration characteristics, and the organoleptic properties needed for orally disintegrating tablet formulations.
