Lactose
Lactose is the disaccharide of galactose and glucose. It is widely used as a filler and diluent in oral solid dosage forms such as tablets and capsules. There are several lactose grades available, which vary physically and functionally depending manufacturing process. Milled lactose is typically used in wet granulation. Milled, spray-dried, and agglomerated as well as anhydrous lactose are well suited for dry granulation.

Benefits / Claims
