Microcrystalline cellulose
Microcrystalline cellulose is widely used in pharmaceutical formulations. It is generally used as a binder/diluent of tablets and capsules. This material can be applied in dry - granulation, wet - granulation and direct compression processes. Microcrystalline cellulose is commercially available in different grades which the differences are based on particle size, flow properties and other physical properties.
