Oleyl alcohol
Oleyl alcohol is a mixture of unsaturated and saturated long-chain fatty alcohols mainly made up of oleyl alcohol and elaidyl alcohol. Being oily in nature, Oleyl alcohol finds good use as an emollient in topical formulations.
