Pregelatinized starch
Pregelatinized starch is commonly used in pharmaceutical formulations as a binder and filler. Pregelatinized starch is the starch that has been chemically and/or mechanically processed. It is commercially available in two types: Partially pregelatinized (flowable and directly compressible) and Fully pregelatinized (cold water soluble starch).
