Sucrose
Sucrose is commonly used in pharmaceutical formulations. One application of sucrose is in hard gel capsules as a filler. It is available in a range of particles sizes. So, it is possible to choose the better particle size for the process. For example, a particle size which will have good flowability to help to ensure weight uniformity for capsules.
