IMCD UK hosts STEM Fair to inspire future innovators

Encouraging students to consider careers in the exciting world of STEM

The IMCD UK STEM Fair, held on the 18th of July as part of IMCD UK’s ENTHUSE Partnership with STEM Learning, aimed to inspire young minds to consider careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

The goal of the fair was to empower future innovators by encouraging them to recognise their potential and understand the positive impact they can make on the world.

Six of IMCD’s business units: Advanced MaterialsBeauty & Personal CareCoatings & ConstructionFood & NutritionLubricants & Energy, and Pharmaceuticals took part in the one-day fair that aimed to promote STEM education to the students from Overton Grange School in the UK. 

Our experts delivered a variety of engaging and interactive demonstrations, from silicone rubber moulding to learning about friction and viscosity, understanding how gelling agents are used to create pharmaceutical products, and much more...
The IMCD UK STEM Fair was made possible through the IMCD Cares Programme, which supports initiatives that improve lives and contribute to creating better futures in the communities they serve.
