IMCD Brasil announces new partnership with Ashland on speciality chemicals distribution for Personal Care and Home Care markets

Ashland announces a new distribuition agreement with IMCD, a leading distributor of speciality chemicals and ingredients. IMCD Brasil has been selected as the distributor for Ashland’s full product line for personal and home care, in states selected in Brazil, beginning 1 October 2020.


“The addition of Ashland’s world-class ingredients to IMCD Brasil’s personal care and home care portfolios is an important win for our technical sales team,” said Nicolas Kaufmann, managing director, IMCD Brasil. “The availability of Ashland’s robust product line will support our customers and IMCD’s application specialists to develop in our laboratories new formulations that favor the creation of innovative products for the Brazilian market. The IMCD Brasil team is pleased to collaborate with Ashland as we embark on this new partnership to progress our business and the industries we serve.”

 

For the personal care industry, IMCD will have access to all of Ashland’s products including rheological modifiers, water resistance film makers, sunscreens for skin and hair, preservatives, conditioning and restructuring agents, lamellar gel formers, emollients, actives for skin and scalp treatment, colored and exfoliating capsules. For the home care market, IMCD Brasil will work in the segments of care for fabrics, surfaces and dishes.
